William N. "Bill" Garner of Davison age 83 passed away Tuesday September 13, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday September 16, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church 706 W. Flint St. (Davison Rd.). Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Private burial on the family plot. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Davison Eagle Aerie #3589 memorial service at 6:30p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Bill will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of service. Those desiring to make contributions may make them to the family. William was born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 11, 1927 the son of the late Franklin and Nettie (Eddy) Garner and has resided in the Davison area since September 1959. He was joined in marriage to Irma Wick in 1948 and she preceded him in death 1995. Bill was member of the Davison Eagle Aerie #3589 and Moose Lodge #2276 in Zephyrhills, Florida. He was employed for GM for 35 ½ years before retiring in 1993. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter: Bonnie Garner; grandchildren: Jill and husband Joe Wygonik, and Nathan and fiancée Hope; great grandchildren Hudson Wygonik, and Xavier Garner; sister: Mary Sue and husband Gary Schnell; brothers: Donald and wife Vickie Garner, and James and wife Nancy Garner; daughter in law: Michelle Garner.
