William (Bill) Elvin Murray of Davison, MI, age 68, passed away February 20, 2023.   Bill was born September 30, 1954 in Flint, MI to Marvin and Lucille (Beckman) Murray. He worked in the plumbing supply wholesale business for 47 years.  Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed kayaking and taking camping trips, going for scenic rides on his Harley Davidson, spending time with family and his best friend Ron Roberts, and playing with his beloved dogs Scooter and Dixie.

Family will receive visitors from 2:00-3:30pm Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison.  A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday.  A private burial at St. John Cemetery will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Bill's memory to Outreach East or the charity of your choice.

Surviving is his significant other of 28 years Brenda Schichtel, and her daughters Nichole (Shawn) Woods and Jamie (Jason) Gooding, Grandchildren: Hannah, Blaise, Bryce, Stone, Breeze and River.  He also leaves: brother Kenneth (Dianna) Murray, sister Mary (Carl) Murray, nephews Aaron (Amber) Murray, Adam (Shannon) Murray, Dylan Payne, and niece Macy Payne.  He is preceded in death by his parents.
