William Henry Jordan of Atlas Township, age 63, died Friday March 22, 2013. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 2: 00 pm Friday March 29, 2013 at the Davison Cemetery 10080 E. Potter Rd. Davison Mi. Bishop Richard Snyder officiating, with military honors to follow. Bill was born in Goodrich Michigan June 26, 1949 the son of the late; Samuel & Phyllis (Moriarty) Jordan and has resided in the Davison/ Atlas area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Margaret Frank on December 1, 1973. Answering the call of his country William served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Bill was a member of Davison VFW Post 4087, DAV Chapter # 3, and the Grand Blanc Huntsman's Club. Bill was a Math Teacher at Lapeer Community Schools, and he also taught Math and was a Coach at Goodrich Community Schools. He had been employed by General Motors AC Spark Plug and Delphi Divisions retiring in 2008. He is survived by wife Margaret, daughter Shaun (Eric) Kovatch, granddaughter Daniela Kovatch, and brother Keith (Dr. Kathryn L. Moseley) Jordan. Bill is preceded in death by his son Daniel Jordan on Jan. 30, 1998, and granddaughter, Amelia Kovatch on Jan. 6, 2006.
