William John Gagnon of Davison, age 78, died Saturday March 6, 2021 at McLaren-Flint. Private family services will be held on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, with private burial at Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing, masks and small groups at one time will be followed. The family would like you to join them at this time but understands you may or may not during these times, and respects your decisions. William was born in Windsor, Vermont the son of the late Robert J. & Phyllis N. (Newton) Gagnon, and has resided in the Davison area the last twenty-six years. He was joined in marriage to Shirley Springer on September 1, 1962. William enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. His true love was woodworking and his ability to make anything. He was a true family man and spent much of his time with his family and friends.

Surviving is the love of his life and wife of fifty-eight years Shirley, his children; William II (Melissa) Gagnon, Theresa (Steven) Fritz, Dawn (Kevin) Gagnon, and Ann (Phil) Barclay. He also leaves his loving fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and sisters Teri (Frank) Papp, and Kathleen Gagnon. William is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Robert J.
