William Dennis Cronkright of Hale, formerly of Genesee Township, age 76, died Thursday October 12, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

William was born in Flint Michigan on February 17, 1947 the son of the late Cecil and Stella (Lisek) Cronkright and had resided in the Genesee Township area until relocating to Hale. He was joined in marriage to Linda Jean Thorpe on July 16, 1966 and she preceded him in death July 2, 2015. He was a graduate of Flint Sacred Heart High School in 1965 and proudly answering the call of his Country Bill served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He always loved a trip to the Casino's and always a winner by his standards. He was employed by General Motor Buick Division until his retirement in 1995.

Surviving are sons: Robert (Alesa Stephan) Cronkright, and Richard (Tamberly) Cronkright. He also leaves his six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
