William Arthur Coleman of Davison, age 77, died Sunday February 23, 2025 at Westfall Assisted Living, Montrose. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday February 27, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home, Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison.  Deacon Dan Fairweather officiating, burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Bill's memory to the Hurley Children's Foundation or Genesee County Humane Society.

William was born in Flint Michigan on May 11, 1947 the son of the late Arthur & June (Neifert) Coleman and has resided in the Davison – Flint area most of his life. He attended Holy Rosary Schools and later graduated from Flint Southwestern High School Class of 1966. William was a member of the Masonic Rite, West Branch Lodge 376, and a member of the American Rifle Association. He loved the outdoors and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He enjoyed garage sales, and auctions. William was passionate about serving his community and had been a volunteer fireman for Hadley Fire Department and an EMT for Kearsley Rescue. He had been employed by General Motors, Grand Blanc BOC Division until his retirement  in 1994.

Surviving is son, William A. Coleman Jr. step-children: Malinda (Jim) Neeley, Diana McKay, Dennis McKay; and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  He also leaves siblings: Walter (Lynn) Colton, Mark (Peggy) Colton, Guy (Paula) Coleman, Linda Coleman, and host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of thirty years Edwina "Edie' Coleman,  father and stepmother Arthur and Eleanor Coleman, mother and stepfather June and Walt Colton, and brother Joe Coleman.
