Wayne J. Madison of Davison age 72 died Wednesday July 8, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday July 12, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Pastor Tom Verwys officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Glenwood Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 1:00pm Sunday until time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribution in Wayne's memory to the Wounded Warrior Fund. Wayne was born in Flint, Michigan September 11, 1942 the son of Bruce J. and Helen (Robinson) Madison and lived in the Davison his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Betty Marie Ross in September of 1964 in Lapeer, Michigan. Wayne was a member of Lapeer Classic Cruiser's, Michigan Classic Cruiser's and Untied Street Machine Association. He was in employed by General Motors Buick Motor Division until he retired in 1993. Wayne is survived by his wife of 50 years Betty; daughter: Tamara (Samuel) Genovese; grandchildren: Ashlee Sue, Joshua Wayne, and Jordan Bruce; mother: Helen Madison; sister: Jeannette Hillaker and host of other relatives and close friends.
