Warren G. Beemer of Richfield Township, age 90, died Sunday January 18, 2015 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held Friday January 23, 2015 at 12:30pm at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating with burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday from 10:00am until time of service. Those desiring may make contribution in Warren's memory to the charity of your choice. Warren was born in Flint, Michigan on February 21, 1924 the son of the late Prescott and Mildred (Myers) Beemer and resided in the Davison area most of his life. Warren was joined in marriage to Caryl A. Hudson on January 4, 1946 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flint, Michigan and she preceded him in death on June 5, 2008. Answering the call of his country Warren served in the US Army during WW II. He graduated from Flint Central High School. He had been employed by General Motors-Buick Motors Division for 30yrs and retiring in 1973. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Karen Ross, Gary and wife Carla Beemer, Sue and husband Michael Feher, Sandra and husband Gary Cunningham and Scott Beemer; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
