Virginia Geraldine Hooper, of Ft. Meyers Florida formerly of Davison, age 83 died Tuesday December 14, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday December 18, 2010 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating, private burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Saturday until time of services. Virginia was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan November 29, 1927 the daughter of the late Angelo & Ramona (Tomasi) Bevilacqua and had resided in the Davison area since 1955 then retiring to Ft. Meyers in 1986. She was joined in marriage to Orlan Hooper January 11, 1947 and he preceded her in death March 31, 1995. Virginia was a beauty operator with Cunningham's until her retirementin 1986. She leaves to cherish her memory; Daughter, Nancy and husband Randy Houston, son, Daniel and wife Rose Hooper, grandchildren,Doug Hooper, Todd Hooper, Staci Houston,Corrie Houston Martin, and seven great grandchildren, Sisters Gen Dario and Sharon Warren. Brothers, Bobby Bevilacqua, and Benny Bevilacqua, Special nieces; Gail Danielson, and Darlene Dixon, and a host of other relatives, Special friend; Ray Stevenson.
