Virginia Lee Crandall

Virginia Lee Crandall of Genesee Township, age 82, died Friday April 23, 2026 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Virginia’s memory to the Animal Rescue of your choice.

Virginia was born in Flint Michigan on August 12, 1943 and spent her early years in Flint and relocating to Genesee Township in 1965. She was joined in marriage to Loren D. Crandall on April 10, 1965 and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2021. Virginia enjoyed crafting and especially quilting. She was a strong advocate of Animal Rights and supported many animal rescue organizations. Virginia also was always ready to join family and friends for a trip to the Casinos. Virginia had been employed by General Motors, AC Spark Plug Division until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memory : sons Richard (Charlotte) Crandall, Michael (Christina) Crandall, and David (Tracy) Crandall. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Emma, Jack, Ellie, Ryan, Noah, Olivia, Micah, Caden, Keagan, Brennan, and her great-grandchildren: Colton, and Lainey. Virginia also leaves a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by mother and step-father, Lillian and Edward Lajewski, and sister Phyllis.
