Tonya E. Squires of Kentucky formerly of Davison age 44, died Friday July 4, 2014 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. David Miller officiating, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday and Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions in Tonya's memory to the American Cancer Society. Tonya was born in Detroit Michigan on January 20, 1970 the daughter of Solomon & Callie (Clark) Coots and had resided in the Davison area before relocating to Science Hill, Kentucky. She was joined in marriage to Howard D. Squires on February 27, 1998 in Flint Michigan. Tonya had been a active member of various cancer support groups during her own battle with cancer. She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Howard D., daughters: Natosha Shea Simpkins, and Megan Renee Simpkins. Also she leaves her mother Callie Coots, brother Tim (Sandy) Coots, sisters Teri (Sal) Alongi, Tina (John) Cunningham.
