Thurston Henry Moen of Davison, age 69, died Saturday August 27, 2016 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No visitation or services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in his memory to the family. Thurston was born in Detroit on February 7, 1947 the son of the late: Bert & Josephine (Stonina) Moen and has resided in Detroit, Indian River and Davison. He was joined in marriage to Penny Murray on Aug 23, 2002 in Flint. Answering the call of his country Thurston served in the US Armed Forces. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Penny, Sister Donna Boycott and husband Dan, daughter Nanette Noyce and husband Mike, son Thurston Moen III and wife Jodi. He also leaves his loving grandchildren; Mitchell Noyce, Mallory Noyce, Justin Moen, and Kiara Moen. His sister-laws; Kim Summers and husband Gary, DesRae Joubran, nieces and nephews: Traci Boycott, Chris Boycott, Shannon Berch, Sydni Joubran, and father-in-law Ed Murray. Special friends: Bob Mills and Herman Pertile. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Barrie.
