Thomas O. Hilgendorf of Davison formerly of Flint age 78, died Tuesday August 3. 2021 at Maple Place Assisted Living. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday August 7, 2021 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, with Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating.

Thomas was born in Flint Michigan on October 5, 1942 the son of the late Olin & Mary (Palmer) Hilgendorf and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. Tom loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4090. Thomas spent over thirty-two years with the Flint Police Department until his retirement. He continued his career in law enforcement with Shiawassee County Sheriff Department for an additional ten years.

Surviving is his partner Mary Cicalo, son Jeffrey and wife Darla Hilgendorf, and his grandchildren Emily and Scott. He also leaves his brother Lee Hilgendorf, and a host of extended family and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his son Scott Hilgendorf. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
