Theodore "Ted" LaBrecque of East Jordan formerly of Davison age 86, joined his wife and family in Heaven on Sunday September 6, 2015 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Sarah Larose-Nettell officiating. A gather time will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of services. Ted was born in Flint Michigan on October 16, 1928 and had resided in the Davison area most of his life, spending the last forty years in East Jordan. He was joined in marriage to Patricia Ward on July 1, 1949 and she preceded him in death on March 18, 2015. Answering the call of his Country Ted served in the US Marine Corp. Ted worked as a truck-driver for many years with Boutell Trucking and several other auto carriers, he later became a Business Agent for Local 332 until retiring to East Jordan. Ted re-entered the work force in East Jordan when he owned and operated the Taylor Grocery Store, and then later returning to trucking with the East Jordan Iron Works. Ted leaves to cherish his memory daughters; Cheri LaBrecque, and Lyn (Pat) Hall. He also leaves grandchildren; Tiffeny (Jeff) Lehner, Rochelle (Mike) Rangel, Rachand (Dave) Branham, Rachael (Adam) Gagne, loving great grandchildren; Whitney Robertson, Abby Rangel, and Kate Gagne. Also sister Susie Humphrey, brother Ronald LaBrecque, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by brother Ralph LaBrecque and sister Janet Holmes,and grandson Aaron Smith.
