Thelma Thompson of Bay City, formerly of Davison, age 84, died Wednesday November 22, 2017 at Bayfield Assisted Living, Bay City. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday December 9, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Matthew Hall officiating. Private inurnment at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Saturday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Thelma's memory to the Faith Lutheran Church. Thelma was born in Flint Michigan on October 8, 1933 the daughter of the late Bernard & Alethea (Felton) Ellsworth and had resided in the area most of her life, relocating to Bay City the last several years. She attended Faith Lutheran Church of Bay City. She is survived by daughters: Cindy and husband Mike Cook, and Crystal and husband Tye Wackerle. She also leaves her grandchildren: Kevin and wife Elizabeth Godbold, Jeffrey and wife Diana Godbold, Janae MacArthur, Kylee and husband Brent Bismack,  Dakota  Popielarz, and Cassey Popielarz. Her loving great grandchildren; Kendall MacArthur, Lauryn Myers, Kenzie Bismack, Harlan Godbold, and Juniper Goldbold. She also is survived by sister Barbara and husband Earl McArthur and a host of extended family.
