Thelma Vera Burgess of Ortonville, age 83, died Tuesday February 12, 2019 at Serenity Assisted Living, Clio. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Thelma's memory to the charity of your choice.

Thelma was born in Hillsdale Michigan on September 13, 1935 the daughter of the late; Duane & Vina Mae (Salmon) Calbetzer and had resided in the Ortonville area most of her life. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Stars, and had been employed by A&P Grocery Store in Fenton for over thirty years before her retirement.
