Terry Allen Ryerson passed away at his home in Flint Michigan on 6/23 /2026. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held at a later date.

Terry was born in Flint Michigan on October 20th 1959 the son of Gertrude Ryerson.

Throughout his life Terry worked a variety of jobs including waterproofing basements and doing mechanic work. He loved fixing things. He also loved collecting treasures, buying and selling things and searching for his next great find. Whether it was a project to fix, a bargain to discover or something unique to add to his collection, he found joy in the hunt.

More than anything else however, he loved his family. His greatest pride and happiness came from being a grandfather. His grandchildren Ryan, Devin, Robert, Hannah, Logan, Gabby, Leahdina, Josiah and Isaiah were the center of his world and he cherished every moment he spent with them.

Terry was also blessed with lifelong friendships. He shared countless memories with his best friend Mike Beldock, including many years playing basketball together. He also valued the friendship of Al Barnes who remained a longtime friend.

Terry is survived by his daughter's Tysha Parker (Robert) and Toni Gray (Bill), his son Scott Wawra and his sisters.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Though Terry leaves behind broken hearts, he also leaves behind a lifetime of memories, lessons, laughter and love. He will deeply be missed and forever be remembered by all who knew him.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Gertrude Ryerson, his daughter Trisha Ryerson, his favorite grand dog chance and his sisters Francis and Nancy, his brothers Doug, Thomas and David.
