It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tammy Lee Morway, who passed peacefully Wednesday January 22, 2025 at her residence after battling a long year of sickness. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life, and dinner will be held at 6:00 pm Monday January 27, 2025 at Local 598 UAW Hall 3293 Van Slyke Rd. Flint. A Private family burial will take place at a later date in New Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive visitors starting at 5:00 pm Monday at the UAW Hall, those desiring may make contributions in Tammy's memory to Genesee County Humane Society, and also to her loving grandchildren.

Tammy was born in Flint Michigan on October 22, 1961, the daughter of James and Betty (Smith) Forrest and has resided in the Flint area her entire life. She attended Flint Community Schools and was a graduate of Flint Southwestern High.  Tammy was known for her huge heart, generosity, and unwavering willingness to lend a hand to any friend, neighbor, or loved one in need. She was a hard worker through and throughout. She approached every task with dedication and independence. She was driven by deep empathy and compassion for others. Her passion for creating beautiful things such as her yard, her home, and amazing artwork, writing and listening to music, and her delicious cooking made her special. She enjoyed her private time hanging out at the house in her boxer shorts watching movies. Tammy loved to go to local stores and hit the clearance rack for all the deals. She also held a deep love for her animals, and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Children: Jenelle Schaaf and her loving partner (David Turner), Austin (Melanie) Trepanier, and Alisha (AJ) Carmona. Loving grandchildren: Addyson, Carson, Brody, Maya, Izzy, and Bree. Tammy also leaves behind her loving partner Garry Rood, mother Betty Forrest and her partner (Ron Zaremba); brother: Richard (Linda) Forrest; sister: Gina (Bob) Yates. Followed by Nieces and nephews: Lacy, Emma, Ashley, Dillion, Danielle, and Ann-Marie. She also leaves behind her fur baby Forrest, great niece and nephews and a host of very special friends. She is preceded in death by daughter: Michelle Morway, brother: Wayne Phelps; her father: James Forrest; Rory Morway, Don Trepanier; son-in-law: Nate Schaaf, and fur baby Napoleon.

Tammy you will forever remain in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain, fully healed and now resting peacefully in Gods Arms.
