Susan Aeleen Town-Ferguson beloved and treasured daughter of Betsy R. Ford  left this earth to join her heavenly family on Tuesday March 4, 2014 in Colorado Springs. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday June 8, 2014 at the home of Betsy R. Ford 6163 N. State Rd Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Susan's memory to the Tenth Life Cat Rescue in Flint Michigan. Susan was born in Flint Michigan on July 4, 1947 the daughter of William and Betsy (Denker) Town. Susan grew up in the Davison area and was an active member of the Richfield United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Degree in Education, and started her teaching career in the Lapeer Community Schools; she relocated to Minnesota and continued to teach at Northdale Middle School in Coon Rapids, Minnesota until her retirement. Surviving is mother Betsy Ford, brother Claude (Kathryn) Vennie, nephew Michael Vennie, nieces Cheryl Vennie, and Lisa (Pete) Stalker, great nephews and nieces, Michael (Nicole) Vennie, Matthew (Angela) Vennie, Tiffany Vennie, Daniel Vennie, David Vennie, Ashley (Ryan) Hempton, and David Stalker.
