Stanley Leon Garbacz of Flint, age 84 died Sunday June 29, 2025 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held at this time. Those desiring to make contribution in Stanley's memory make may them to Genesee County Humane Society.

Stanley was born in Port Huron, Michigan on September 12, 1940 the son of the late Stanley and Clara (DeMaske) Garbacz and has resided in the Flint area the last sixty one years. He was joined in marriage to Carol Mooney on November 4, 1961. Stanley was a man of many passions, including hunting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, rooting for the Detroit Tigers, and cheering on University of Michigan football. He was also proud owner and operator of Klean Karpet Kare for over thirty years.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife of sixty three years Carol; children: Kim Marie Waskom (Stan Monk), Cheryl Macsuga (Dennis Carney), Joseph Leon Garbacz and wife Tonya, and daughter in law: Debra Garbacz; 13 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren; brother: Ronald and wife Cathy Garbacz, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by son: William John Garbacz in 2023; granddaughter Brittany Marie Waskom 2016; brother: Frank John Garbacz, and sister: Mary Graham.
