Sharon L. Louman

Sharon Louman (Laine) of Burton age 85 died Wednesday September 2, 2026 at Henry Ford Genesys. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday September 8, 2026 at Davison Cemetery with Dan Louman officiating.

Sharon was born in Marquette, Michigan on November 12, 1940 the daughter of the late Taisto and Lena (Connors) Laine and resided in the Burton area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to John Louman on December 7, 1958 and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2008. Sharon was a quiet woman who enjoyed spending time at home, with her various dogs. She was also a great gift giver.

She is survived by her children: Dan and wife Lisa Louman, and Denise Hobson; grandchildren: Lani Spooner, Amber and husband Matt Ferguson, and Jackie and husband Mich McCuiston; great grandchildren: Gus, Eliy, Paisley, Scarlett, Ezra, and Milo; her brother: Bruce (Sandy) Laine, and her sister: Holly Rajala; sister in law: Norma Laine, and host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother: Dennis Laine; sister and brother in law: Susie and husband Eino Sirralla; brother in law: Jim Rajala.
