Sharon L. Ferguson of Tavares, Florida formerly of Davison age 78, passed away Thursday October 15, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday November 2, 2020 at Hansen Funeral Home, Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 pm Sunday November 1, 2020 at the funeral home. Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing and limited amount of visitors at one time are being followed. The family would like you to join them but understand you may or may not at this time and respects your decisions.

Sharon was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on April 20, 1942 and had lived in the Davison area for many years before moving to Central Florida in 1992. She was joined in marriage to her beloved husband Lynford C. Ferguson Jr. and they enjoyed forty years of marriage until his death on August 11, 2003. Sharon was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother. She had a heart of gold and was loved by all. Sharon was a member of VFW Auxiliary 4087 of Davison Michigan, and attended the First Church of Christ of Mount Dora.

Sharon is survived by her two sons Lynford C. Ferguson III of Orlando Fla., Dustin L. (Anna) Ferguson of Port Charlotte Fla., and her daughter Anna M. Ferguson of Stuart Fla. She also leaves her twin sister Sandra Benham of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and sister Nancy Burnet of Pottersville Mich.
