Sharon L. Drury of Boyne City, (formerly of Davison) age 85, died Thursday May 15, 2015 at the Brook of Boyne City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday May 21, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison Fr. Carl Simon, Celebrant, with Rite of Committal in St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 am Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Sharon's memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Sharon was born in Highland Park Michigan on April 16, 1930 the daughter of Harry & Alma (Long) Hewitt and has resided in the Davison area since 1995 - 2012. She was joined in marriage to John W. Drury Jr. on May 2, 1952 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Detroit area he preceded her in death on July 27, 2009. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison until her move to Boyne City to be closer to her family. Surviving are son John and wife Jill Drury, daughter Cheryl and husband John Davis, five grandchildren: Eric LaMothe, Devon Ziegler, Jonna Drury, Erin Drury, and Jordan Faulkner, and 4 great grandchildren.
