ANDREWS, Sharen Hattie of Elba Township age 68 died Sunday May 24, 2009 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11; 00 a.m. Thursday May 28, 2009 at the New Testament General Baptist Church 3484 S. Belsay Rd. Burton. Pastor D. Joey Graves officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Sharen will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. She was born in Burton Michigan May 10, 1941 the daughter of the late Irvin & Dorothy (Riegler) Avery and has resided in the area most of her life. Sharen was joined in marriage to Johnny Andrews and he preceded her in death February 21, 2008. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Auto City Eagles Aux # 629 and the New Testament General Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory sons; Avery & wife Cindy Andrews, Tim & wife Jodi Andrews, John & wife Laura Andrews. Daughter Dawn Andrews and fiancé John. Five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
