Sandra Lee Meixner, age 77, died Sunday January 9, 2022 at Lapeer County Medical Care Center. A gathering time of family and friends will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Hansen Funeral Home 421 N. Main St. Davison. Private family burial will be held on Friday January 14, 2022 at Cadillac West Cemetery 34224 Ford Rd. Westland Michigan. Those desiring may make contributions in Sandra's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.

Sandra was born in Southfield, Michigan on November 22, 1944, the daughter of the late John & Lila (Dicho) Meixner and had resided in the Detroit area most of her life. Sandra greatest love was spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed numerous types of crafts such as stained glass projects, sewing and quilting. Sandra had been in banking most of her life having worked at Citizen's Bank, Huntington Bank and Bank One.

She is survived by daughter Diane (Robert) Forrest and her loving grandchildren; Wyatt, Iain, and Ivy. She also leaves her siblings: Barbara (John) Maynarich, JoAnn (Stan) Jackson, John (Lori) Meixner, and a host of extended family. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
