Sandra D Holbrook of Flint age 71 died Tuesday October 5, 2010 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday October 8, 2010 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. Gene Smith officiating, Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribution in Sandra's memory to Breast Cancer Research. Sandra was born in Flint Michigan December 12, 1938 the daughter of the late; Bert and Wanda (Gross) McDaniel and has resided in the Flint area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Elmer Holbrook in 1958 in Saginaw Michigan. Sandra is survived by husband Elmer, Children: Elmer and wife Rhea Holbrook Jr of Nashville MI, Mary Ann and husband Larry Train of Greenville, MI, and Cathy and husband Grady Sparks of Ronda, N.C. Eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Brother Charles and wife Janet McDaniel of Otisville, sisters: Sharon Williams of Alabama, and Glenda Esterline of Clio, and a host of other relative. Sandra is preceded in death by brother Jerry McDaniel and sisters M. Joan Bell and Barbara Allison.
