Obituary

Sandra Guiles of Burton, age 61 passed away peacefully Friday, October 23, 2020 at her home with her loving husband by her side. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. The family extends an open invitation to everyone that has had the blessing to know Sandy.

Sandra was born on August 14, 1959 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Jack and Donna (Colston) Hall and resided in the Kearsley area for over thirty years. On September 10th, 1983, she married the love of her life, Thomas Guiles.

Many described Sandra as a caring, warm-hearted person that was always willing to help others. She was gentle yet bold, and always had so much love to give. Her smile was bright and contagious; she lit up every room she entered. Sandra was a devoted wife and dedicated mother. She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was even known as "Grandma Sandy" by the children in her community. She made friends everywhere she went and volunteered as often as she could. Above all things, Sandra loved watching her grandchildren play sports and could even be found coaching on the baseball field. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, baking with her grandchildren, gardening and flowers. Sandra was a hopeless romantic that loved singing and reading romance novels.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of thirty-seven years Thomas, sons Robert and Tony Guiles and her daughter Nicole (Robert Botos) Guiles. She also leaves her loving grandchildren; Audrina, Maddox, McKenzie and Paisley as well as her devoted niece Tiffany (Jason) McQueer of Traverse City. Surviving siblings; Larry Hall and Sharon "Kate" (Eric Metzger) Hall, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Debra Pruitt and Phyllis Smith.
