Samuel Lee "Sam" Anderson formerly of Burton and Davison, age 68, died Tuesday January 12, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be held 3:15 Friday January 15, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing, face masks and small groups at one time will be followed. Sam was born in Flint Michigan on January 3, 1953 the son of the late Robert & Donna (Egolf) Anderson and had resided in the Burton-Davison area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Susan Ann Walterhouse on February 19, 1976 in Hadley, Michigan and she preceded him in death on June 2, 2009. Sam was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1971.

Surviving is sons: Samuel Lee (Christina) Anderson II, Jason Jay (Missy) Anderson, step-daughters; Tammy Lynn Maschino, and Betty Geraldine Tucker. He also leaves his loving grandchildren: Dayna Marie Anderson, Alivia Mae Anderson, Gage Lee Anderson, Audrey Maschino, Bradley Maschino, Ashley Maschino, Rodney Hoover III, Brandon Hoover, Alex Hoover, great grandchildren; Brayden Lipp, and Melia Maschino. Also siblings: Bob Anderson, Joyce Fulgenzi, Drew Anderson, and Scott Anderson. He is preceded in death by brothers; Doug, Lester, Donnie, and sister Pam.
