Sally Mae Long of Davison, age 83, died Monday January 25, at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with burial in Green Corners Cemetery.

Sally was born in Flint Michigan on February 27, 1937 the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Core) Bensett and resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Frank Long on August 17, 1957. She enjoyed painting and quilting, and was a Davison Graduate Class of 1956,

She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Frank; children: Frank Long, Tammy Long, June and husband Bill Rice, Matthew Long, Ruth Long, and Paul Long; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother: James Bensett, and host extended family.
