THICK, Ruth I. of Davison age 85 died Wednesday May 20, 2009 at Riverbend Convalescent Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 23, 2009 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Curtis Lilly officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Ruth's name to Davison Free Methodist Church. Ruth was born in Pemiscot County Missouri on June 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Morgan & Minnie (Cunningham) Warth, and has resided in the Davison area for over thirty years. She was joined in marriage to Freddie Thick and he preceded her in death May 22, 2004. She was a member of Davison Free Methodist Church. Surviving is son Ron Mallory, daughter LaVonna Hikal. Seven grandchildren including, special grandsons; Jason Mallory and Jodie Ryan Mallory. Sixteen great grandchildren. Twin brother; Daniel Ray Warth, sister Hattie Mae King. Special nephews Dana Ray Warth and Daniel Warth, special niece Mary Lynn Richardson and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by daughter; Linda Sue Hahn, Nine brothers and sisters. Husbands: William I. Mallory and Thomas Fendt.
