Ruth Evelyn Presley, of Davison, age 82, died Sunday July 9, 2017 at Woodbridge of Fenton. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday July 12, 2017 at South Flint Church of the Nazarene 4075 E. Atherton Rd. Burton Michigan 48519. Pastor Bob Cattane will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 3-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Ruth will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am Wednesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Ruth's memory to the Church Memorial Fund. Ruth was born in Bay City Michigan on June 19, 1935 the daughter of the late; Harvey & Evelyn (Sherman) Headings and has resided in the Davison area the last twelve years.  She was joined in marriage to James Presley on Apr. 29, 1955 and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2009. Ruth is a member of South Flint Church of the Nazarene, and had served on the Church Board for many years. She leaves her children: Marilyn & Michael Wansitler, James & Cindy Presley, Barbara Presley, and Jerry Presley. She also leaves her ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and brother Sherman & Rose Headings.
