Ruth Kelley VanAcker, 95 of Davison went to be with the Lord at home surrounded by her family on July 17 ^th , 2021. Ruth was born to Leslie Clair Tuckey and Florence Wanner Tuckey, on November 11, 1925. She was a long-time resident of Cass City and a member of the Cass City Missionary Church. Ruth loved her Lord and her family most of all, but she also loved cooking, sewing, and all kinds of crafts. She was known, especially, for her lemon meringue pie. She loved extending hospitality to everyone, and had many foreign exchange students in her home over the years. Ruth married Warren A. Kelley on November 20, 1943. Warren and Ruth owned and operated Cass City Floral for over 30 years. Warren preceded her in death July 20, 1983. Ruth married Joseph VanAcker April 21, 1986. He preceded her in death April 2018.

Ruth is survived by her children, Eldred (Luanne) Kelley of Lakeland, Florida, Gary (Linda) Kelley of Davison, and Sue (David) Opal of Grand Haven, stepchildren, Jack (Donna) VanAcker of Brownstown Township, Debbie (Joseph) Brooks of Okemos, step daughter-in-law Sherie VanAcker of La Salle, Six grandchildren, Eight step grandchildren, Sixteen great grandchildren, and Three great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Warren, her husband Joseph, and her stepson Gary VanAcker.

Funeral services will be held at the Cass City Missionary Church 4449 Koephgen Rd. Cass City Michigan 48726 on Tuesday July 20 ^th 2021 at 1:00 pm preceded by visitation starting at 10:00 am.
