Ruth Helen Judd of Davison age 84 died Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Time of gathering and reflections will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7;00 p.m Thursday at the funeral home. Followed by cremation at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contribution in Ruth's memory to Outreach East or Genesee County Humane Society. Ruth was born in Mt.Morris Michigan June 18, 1925 the daughter of the late William & Mary (Vantine) Mitchell and had resided in the Otisville-Davison area most of her life. she was joined in marriage to Loyd Judd May 15, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois and he preceded her in death Jan 6, 2001. Answering the call of her country Ruth served as a nurse in the US Navy during WW II. She was a active Girl Scout leader for many years. She was very proud and active member of the Briadwood Manor Group being involved in anything and everthing they done. Surviving are children: Jacquie & Jim Osborn of Otisville, Jay & Doreen Judd of Lapeer, Janet & Robert Williams of Otisville, Jayne & Tim Cowell of Lapeer, and Jeffrey Judd of Lapeer. Nine grandchidren, nine great grandchildren, sister Carmen Schoeppach of Bay City, and a host of other relative. She is preceded in death by brother; James David Mitchell and sister Mary Lou Mitchell
