Ruby Izora Vance of Flint age 66 died Friday May 27, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the North Flushing Baptist Church 7500 Mt. Morris Rd. Flushing. Pastor Dale Lewis officiating, Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 11:00-5:00 pm Monday at the Church. Ruby will lie in state on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am Tuesday until time of services. Ruby was born in Kennett Missouri on February 6, 1945 the daughter of the late; Estel & Pauline (Sallee) Lair, and has resided in the Flint area since 1965. She was joined in marriage to Gary Vance on December 10, 1960 in Miami Oklahoma. Ruby was a member of the North Flushing Baptist Church and had been employed by Westwood Heights Schools as a bus driver retiring in 1995. Surviving are husband, Gary, children, Billy Vance, Donny (Tammy) Vance, Mandy (Mike) Shustock, and Tim (Tara) Vance. Grandchildren: Justin, Joey, Brittany, Shelby, Dakota, Dani Rae, Gavin, Annie, Micah, Joseph, and Samuel. Sisters: Patty (Bill) Turner, Linda (Bobby) Williams, Della Harris, and Cathy Lair.
