Ruby Jean Butler of Flint, age 93, died Saturday September 24, 2016 at Genesee Care Center, Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday September 29, 2016 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Jeremy Peters officiating: with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be from 11:00 am Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Ruby Jean's memory to Hansen Funeral Home. Ruby Jean was born in Sault Sainte Marie Michigan on December 24, 1922 the daughter of the late Thomas L & Jean M. (Scott) Garrison and had resided in the Flint area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to J R Butler and he preceded her in death in 1970. Ruby and her husband J R owned and operated Butler Realty until her retirement. Ruby had been an active supporter and member of the Flint Cultural Center, Love INC. She also was a member of ZONTA, St. Cecilia Guild, Davison United Methodist and Court Street United Methodist Churches, and board member of Mott Community College for many years.
