Roy Jeffrey Wright of Davison, age 64, died Wednesday May 20, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday May 29, 2026 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison with Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Friday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Roy’s memory to the charity of your choice.

Roy was born in Flint Michigan on October 6, 1961 the son of the late Roy and Joanne (Kennedy) Wright and has resided in Davison his entire life. Roy had attended Davison Community Schools. Roy was an avid racing fan and enjoyed attending all the local tracks, from drag racing to oval tracks. He had been employed by M-15 Towing.

Surviving is son Michael Wright, step-daughter Kelly Ross, and granddaughter Madalyn. He also leaves his sibling: Theresa Wright, Susan Wright, and Patrick and wife Tammy Wright and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by brothers Michael Wright and James Wright.
