Rosemary Glynn of Davison age 78 died Friday June 17, 2011 at her residence, surrounded by her children. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday June 22, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial in St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. A parish scripture service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening. Rosemary will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Wednesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the St. John Building Fund. Rosemary was born in Providence Rhode Island, May 5, 1933 the daughter of the late; Hugh & Mary (Kenny) Glynn and has resided in the Davison area since 1960.She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Rosemary was a graduate of St. Mary Nursing School in 1954, spending over fifty years in the nursing profession. Rosemary had been employed as a Nurse on the Medical Staffs at many of the General Motors Facilities for over twenty-two years. Surviving are children: Susan & Michael Keefe, Sandy & Glenn Petersen, John & Suzanne Shorey, and Judy Shorey. Grandchildren, Jim, Lindsey, Rachel, and Jacob. Sibblings; Ken & Donna Glynn, Pete & Susie Glynn, John Glynn, Denny & Kathy Glynn, Kathy & Pat Ross, Christine Flannagan, sister in law Juanita Glynn, and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by the father of her children, John F. Shorey, brothers, Hugh "Bud' Glynn, William Glynn, sister, Dolores "Dolly" Glynn, and sister in law, Juanita Glynn.
