Rose J. Brock of Davison, 85, loving and spirited mother and grandmother passed away on Monday June 6, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 11: 00 am Monday June 13, 2016 at Meadowview Cemetery 3136 N. State Rd. Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Rose's memory to the St. Jude's Foundation. Rose was born in Flint Michigan on March 9, 1931 the daughter of the late Delos & Isabel (Ott) Lawrence, and has resided in the Flint area most of her life. She had been employed by Wheelock and St. Joseph Hospitals as a nurse's aid for many years. She is survived by children Theresa (Paul) Busque, Mark Smith, Rose Rainbolt, Jeff Smith, Donald (Kay) Smith, Jimmy (Ericka) Smith, Kim (Mike) Cheatham, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband's John H. Smith and Joe Brock, her daughter Beth Ann Comerford on June 22, 2015, daughter Julie Smith, and Rose's siblings Sam Lawrence and Maxine Morrow.
