Rose Lillian Brenner of Flint & Mt. Morris age 88, died Saturday April 7, 2018 at Woodland Hospice Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Our Savior Lutheran Church 6901 N. Saginaw St. Flint Pastor Randall Schultz officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 3 – 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Rose will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Wednesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the Church Memorial Fund. Rose was born in Flint Michigan on April 28, 1929 the daughter of the late William & Marsha (White) Phillips and has resided in the Flint – Mt. Morris most of her life.  She was joined in marriage to Carl Brenner on January 24, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1992. Rose was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the Davison VFW Post 4087 Ladies Auxiliary. She had been employed by Hamady Brothers Grocery Stores for many years. Surviving are children Victoria (David) Wagner, June (James) Kovach, and Carl "Mike" (Marianne) Brenner.  She also leaves her loving ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
