Ronald Henry VanLandeghem , of  Davison formerly of Lapeer, age 77, died Monday May 1, 2017 at his residence.  A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday May 10, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church 90 Millville Rd. Lapeer.  Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating with, private burial services with Military Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Wednesday at the church until time of services  Those desiring may make contributions is Ron's memory to St. Paul Lutheran School.  Ronald was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on March 18, 1940 the son of the late Henry & Alice (Spruth) VanLandeghem and has resided in the Davison – Lapeer area the last thirty years. He was joined in marriage to Barbara Schroeder on Aug 26 1966 in Berkley Michigan. Answering the call of his country Ronald served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lapeer, and had been employed by Growth & Opportunity until his retirement. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of fifty years Barbara, and son Jayson & wife Laura VanLandeghem. He also leaves his loving grandchildren; Christopher, Benjamin, William and Evelyn.
