Ronald (Jake) James Blosser of Davison, Michigan passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at 83 years of age. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road Holly, Michigan on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 12:30 pm. Ron was a lover of all animals. Those desiring, in lieu of flowers, may make contributions in Ron's memory to Critter Crossing Rehabilitation or Peace Love and Paws Rescue.

Ron was born on March 25, 1938 in Detroit the son of the late Harry and Caroline (Grusecki) Blosser and had resided in Davison for the last 4 years.

He was a graduate of the class of 1958 of Arenac Eastern High School Twining, MI. He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Thule, Greenland during his service. He was employed by Detroit Edison and Jefferson Trucking, National City Michigan.

Ron loved to travel and spend time with his family. During the summer months, he would spend most days sitting on the from porch watching traffic and listening to polka music enjoying when friends would beep at him. He was an avid classic car buff and loved taking his grandson to various car shows in his 1950 Chevy.

Ron is survived by his daughters: Cindy (Thomas) Flanigan of Land O Lakes Florida, Kathy (Lonnie) Saumier of Davison; son: Jamie Blosser of Davison; sisters: Beatrice Schkade of Brighton and Elaine (Roy) Width of Fenton.

He also leaves his loving grandchildren: Kristen Saumier (Todd Diehl), Lonnie (Shelby) Saumier, Caleb (Morghan) Flanigan; great grandchildren: Taron and Talen Diehl, and several nieces and nephews.
