Ronald Dale Heppner of Burton, age 68, died Friday May 25, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Sunday June 10, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Joe Francis officiating. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Ron's memory to the family for an educational fund for his grandchildren.  Ron was born in Sebewaing Michigan on February 15, 1950 the son of Clyde & Norma Jean (Gunsell) Heppner and has resided in the area the last thirty years. Ron was a 1968 graduate of Clawson High School. Ron enjoyed range shooting, and all types of sports and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was employed by Davison Community Schools retiring in 2010. Surviving is daughter Jennifer Heppner, son Nathan (Katie) Heppner and his grandchildren Michael Heppner, and Olivia Heppner. He also leaves his siblings: Joe (Chris) Heppner, Gayle Heppner, Deb (Jack) Brenner, Ken (Paula ) Heppner and a host of extended family, and special friends; Gary, Donnie, Bob, and Joe.
