Ronald "Ron" David Hunt of Alabama, formerly of Davison, age 65 passed away Friday March 2, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at 6:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Erik Cloeter will be officiating. Family will receive visitors from 1:00pm Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. Ron was born on October 15, 1946 in Charlevoix, Michigan the son of the late Gerald and Kathryn (Wexstaff) Hunt and had resided in the Davison area most of his life. Ron was Harley Davidson Mechanic, and an avid Biker. He leaves to cherish his memory; daughters: Tammy (Chuck) Higgs, Sunny (Nate) Smith, and Meghan, son: Michael, grandchildren: Cheryl, Lonnie, Ricky, Alyssa, and Angel; sisters: Sheila (Karl) Hawkins, and Karen (Butch) Minard; nieces: Stephanie (Scott) Martin, and Christina Russell; nephews: Timothy Hawkins, and Jerry (Cindy) Hunt, George Minard II, and several great nieces and nephews.
