Roger was born in Ypsilanti Michigan on December 7, 1934, the oldest of three sons, to the late Edward "Ted" and Florence (Stovel) Wiselogle. He is a 1953 graduate of Bentley High School. Roger spent many years as an engineer and then in 1975 he relocated to Colorado to become a semi-truck driver, which he loved doing. He later returned to engineering and worked for Eagle Claw, where they patented a treble hook that he designed, retiring to Alabama in 2000. In 2005 Connie and Roger moved back to the Flint area to be near family.
He met his wife Connie Streeter in 1975 and reunited in 1997. They were joined in marriage in 1998. He especially enjoyed traveling to visit his four daughters and their families. Being with family and friends, especially telling stories of his adventures of growing up, meant a lot to him and us all. He was an avid lover of old cars and would attend the Woodward Dream Cruise every year. He loved to tinker around in his man cave and being outdoors. He could fix anything and loved dogs.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving is his wife of twenty-three years Connie, his daughters: Nannett (Dave) Jordan of NV, Laurie (Carl) Lundy of AL, Trudy Wiselogle of MD, and Gwen (Michael) Cramer of NV. He also leaves his five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by brother Lance Wiselogle, sister Muriel Wiselogle, and brother-in-law Marty Streeter. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
