Roger Dale Gillmer of Otisville, age 69, died Friday June 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital, Tawas Michigan. A Life Celebration will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday June 19, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Carl Burkeen, officiating. Family will receive visitors from 4-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may contributions in Rogers Memory to the American Cancer Society.

Roger was born in Flint Michigan on January 6, 1949 the son of Wayne & Virginia (Hall) Gillmer and has resided in the Davison-Otisville area most of his life. He was a member of Davison Eagles #3589, Tawas Moose Lodge #2400, and Local 324. He had been employed by Operating Engineers #324 until his retirement in 2006.

Surviving is life partner Shirley, children Kim Witt and fiancé Todd Grossbauer, Roger Gillmer II and Heather, Nicole Droomer & Stan, Rick Smeader and Nancy, Cori Jackett and Dan, Scott Brownman and Mary. He also leaves his parents Wayne & Virginia Gillmer, brother LeRoy Gillmer, sisters: Roxana Wagoner, Lisa & Carl Burkeen, and a host of extend family and friends.
