Rodney Wogaman, age 61, of Flint, Michigan; passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on August 21, 1964, and will be remembered as a devoted father, proud grandfather, and caring man who deeply valued time spent with those closest to him.
Rodney’s greatest joy in life was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Devin Day, and daughter-in-law, Kaitlyn Day. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Alek, Allison, and Alaina, who brought him endless happiness and meant the world to him. Rodney is also survived by his sisters, Lorraine (Howard) Catanese and Marlene Wogaman; his brothers, Dickey Wogaman, Clifford Wogaman, and Dwayne (Renee) Wogaman; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Kathleen and Ralph Wogaman and his brothers, David Wogaman and Brian Wogaman.
Rodney had a deep love for animals and took great pride in caring for them. He especially enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved camping, where he found peace and happiness surrounded by nature and family. He also treasured his time living in Florida, where he enjoyed the warm weather and the lifestyle that allowed him to spend even more time outdoors. Whether traveling up north, camping, or simply being with family, Rodney valued the moments that brought people together and created lasting memories.
Those who knew Rodney will remember his caring heart, his quiet strength, and his deep commitment to the people he loved. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday April 11, 2026 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, with Rev. Justin Rose officiating. Cremation will follow at Memorial Fields Crematory. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Saturday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Rodney’s memory to his family.
