Roberto "Bob" Salinas

Roberto Salinas of Davison, age 73, died Wednesday July 1, 2026 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday July 9, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 2316 Coldwater Rd. Flint, with Fr. Thomas Firestone, Celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the church starting at 10:00 am Thursday July 9, 2026.Those desiring may make contributions in Roberto’s memory to the family.

Roberto was born in Flint Michigan on November 6, 1952 the son of the late: Birjilio “Bill” and Aurora (Lopez) Salinas and has resided in Davison the six years, spending most of his life in Flint. Roberto enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of both the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, and was generally an all round sports enthusiast. Roberto’s most enjoyment in life was spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Bob fondly had a special spot in his heart for Cory she was always there for him. He dearly loved his Tias, Tios, Lucia, Vicente, Rosa, Milo, Julia, and Peter. Bob was a constant companion and friends to many at Braidwood Manor. If they needed a ride, Bob was there for them. He had been employed by General Motors for many years and continued a career in maintenance at Hurley Hospital.

Roberto is survived by brothers: Bill (Margaret) Salinas, Arturo (Dawn Reyes) Salinas, and sister-in-law Dianna Salinas. He also leaves a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by brother: Ernesto Salinas, and sister: Dolores Moreno.

Bob is loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
