Robert James Priebe of Ferndale age 47, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 in Wayne County. Honoring his family's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday November 14 at Faith Lutheran Church 3501 Highland Rd Highland, Michigan 48356. In lieu of flowers, donations toward travel arrangements of Robert's father and other services will be appreciated. Robert was born in Livonia, Michigan on February 21, 1968. He is the son of Harold & Judith (Drittler) Priebe. Robert had spent most of his life in the Howell, South Lyon and Ferndale areas. Robert enjoyed working and spending time with co-workers at Alexander Hamilton Life Insurance and BBDO. One of his many talents was to find the humor in everything. He made many people laugh. He genuinely cared about many people and was a great man. Robert had recently become an avid chess player and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving is father Harold (MaryAnn) Priebe, sisters; Jennifer (Jason) Wilcox, Mary Priebe (friend-Bill McDevitt), nieces and nephews; Angie, Parker, Shawna, Andrea, Kenny, Kyle, Mackenzie, and Michael. He also leaves one step-brother, five step-sisters, and numerous step-nieces and step-nephews. Close friend Alex Sanchez, and many other relatives and friends and his pet Monty.
