Robert Francis LaCross of Davison age 82, died Monday September 22, 2014 at McLaren-Flint. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Gathering Time will be held from 2-4 pm Sunday September 28, 2014 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Robert's memory to Adopt-a-Pet of Fenton, or Plant a Tree Program for the Huron Manistee National Forest. Robert was born in Flint Michigan on January 2, 1932 the son of the late: Donia & Ana (Beauchamp) LaCross and has resided in the Davison area since 1970. He was joined in marriage to Marilyn Kay White on July 27, 1957 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on February 12, 2011. Bob had attended Atherton Community Schools and was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1949. Answering the call of his country Robert served in the US Marine Corp during the Koren War. Bob enjoyed Hunting. Fishing and was a avid enthusiast of all major sports. He had been employed by General Motors AC Spark Plug Division until his retirement. Surviving is daughter Laurie LaCross-Wright and husband Rusty Wright. Sisters: Mildred Belanger, and Donna Marie Smith. He also leaves brother Don (Mary) LaCross, several nieces and nephews.
