Robert John "Bob" Kopacz of Linden, age 56, died Sunday October 29, 2017 at his residence.  A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday November 3, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Private inurnment at Sunset Hills Mausoleum. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Bob's memory to his family. Robert was born in Flint Michigan on April 13, 1961 the son of the late John & Betty Jane (Kopcinski) Kopacz and had resided in the Flint area for many years, and relocated to the Fenton/Linden area the last ten years. He was joined in marriage to Sarah Armstrong on November 17, 2013. Bob was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1979. Bob's greatest love was his family; he always was active in their lives. He was an all around sports fan, but his true love was Hockey which he excelled in during his school years. He also excelled in his golf game with friends and family members.  Bob was employed by Sunset Hills Cemetery and had been there for over thirty eight years.  He leaves to cherish his memory wife Sarah, children; Kyle, Cory, Alyssa, Brielle, and Caitlyn. Also his sister Christine and husband Paul Brown, brother Richard and wife Sharon Kopacz, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by son Trent.
